Do Quality Standards Affect the Growth of the Fisheries Sector in Cameroon?

This article aim’s to assess the effect of quality standards on growth fisheries sector in Cameroon. Cobb-Douglas function, Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) estimation method and stationary test (Augmented Dicky Fuller Phillip Perron tests) were employed. In light results obtained, we noted that short term, are negatively significantly correlated with Cameroon, but long observed a positive correlation. Indeed, 10% strengthening is accompanied by decrease Cameroonian about 8.61%. Faced demanding nature view making efficient attractive recommend public authorities implement national strategy based effective relevant management human financial resources, aimed at supporting fisher folk one hand, other improving institutions.
